I work with earth science communities to co-create data management tools and workflows to support their research. My role in the Scientific Data Division at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory combines user experience research, full stack design and development, and operations. I bring a diverse background to developing data science solutions: mechanical engineering, ecology, new media, data science. I joined the lab in 2016 after completing my PhD in the Energy and Resources Group and the Berkeley Center for New Media at University of California, Berkeley.
