Lisa Claus

I am a member of the User Engagement Group at the National Energy Research Scientific Computing Center (NERSC) at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. My research focuses on the development of high-performance computing software to accelerate the simulation of various applications from climate models to electromagnetism.

Working in a research environment excites me because I have the opportunity to learn about many challenging and fascinating problems while working in a collaborative and supportive environment. I am eager to develop algorithms and scientific software that supports various communities.

I love helping others. This is why I am engaged in different mentoring programs and volunteering opportunities to support students from kindergarten through high school to their graduate education.
